Ramsfield Press is excited to announce that our first novel will be published next year. The author, Margo Wilson, worked for many years as a reporter and now turns her gifts to teaching at California University of Pennsylvania. (Yes, Virginia, there is a California, Pennsylvania.) Originally from Wisconsin, she earned her MFA (Masters of Fine Arts) from Goddard College in Plainfield, VT, in 2001. She lives in a small town in western Pennsylvania. Her new book, tentatively entitled The Main Ingredient, is set in the fictional town of Weepampum, WI. It will be out in this summer, so look for it!
Joe Boland
Joe Boland is an exceptionally well self-educated guy from Connecticut who writes splendidly, lives with his wife of thirty-somethng years, and puts food on his table by being a machinist. He says, "When I was in high school, I avoided anything that was required reading like the plague. But a funny thing happened about when I turned fifty." He started reading the classics and enjoying them. His collection of gritty short stories, tentatively titled Where the World Goes When It Goes Away (You Are Here), takes place in the mythical town of Romville, on the Rom River, somewhere on the Eastern Seaboard. It is scheduled for release in early fall of next year. Keep an eye out for it.
